Almost a Good Samaritan.

What a day. I spent it going north and south, on various errands. My legs and feet...hurt. But it's okay. Not only was I able to buy some summer wear for myself (hehe), I was also able to buy gifts for my cousins. Isa na lang! Yehey.

Although I feel rather bothered earlier. While I was walking towards the MRT station in Guadalupe, a girl approached me and asked whether I could text her 'ate'. She was distraught - she doesn't really know the place well, her wallet got stolen by some thief, and she didn't have any credits left on her cellphone plus she was running low on battery.

So I agreed. But you know, I was also wary. I don't normally talk to strangers. And strangers along EDSA! Gosh. So anyway, even so, the girl really didn't seem to know what to do, so I texted the number she gave me. She requested the person I texted if she (the 'ate') could pick her up at that spot where they dropped her off. I texted the message and then I left her.

After I left her, I just bought something at the Guadalupe Commercial Center. Then I received a reply from the person. It turned out that that person I texted could not pick her up. She didn't have money herself. She also asked her if she could just commute to the place where the party would be held.

At that moment I felt guilty and sad. Guilty because I was unable to text that the girl didn't have any money, and sad because I don't know what the girl I helped would do next.I was already in line to buy an MRT ticket when I realized I had to help her out. So I decided to walk back and fork some fare money to the girl.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see her at the same spot. (FYI: I had to cross EDSA and come down...so this took quite some time.) Oh well. I somewhat feel bad because it didn't occur to me to just give her some fare money. She really looked like she needed it. And sad. I wonder how she was able to go to that place.

Oh well.:(
